Coffee For Good: Supporting Food Lifeline This Holiday Season
As we entered the holiday months of November and December, our team at Caffe Ladro continued our commitment to community impact through our Coffee For Good program. For the final months of the year, we were honored to partner again with Food Lifeline, an organization working every day to end hunger across Western Washington.
Food Lifeline's Impact
Food Lifeline is a vital hunger‑relief nonprofit serving communities across 17 counties in Western Washington. Through a network of nearly 300 partner agencies, they help provide consistent access to nutritious food for people facing food insecurity.
In FY2025 alone, Food Lifeline:
- Served 2,389,902 individuals
- Distributed over 73.1 million pounds of food
- Helped create the equivalent of 200,000 meals every day
Their impact touches households, families, seniors, students, and communities across our region — and we’re grateful to stand alongside them in this work.
How You Helped
For November and December, $3 from every unit sold of our Coffee For Good seasonal coffee, as well as our Classic Blend Box went directly to Food Lifeline. Each purchase supports their essential programs — from food distribution and logistics to community partnerships and advocacy for long‑term hunger solutions.
Thanks to your support, we were able to contribute meaningful financial resources during a time of year when demand for hunger‑relief services increases significantly.
All Store Holiday Food Drive
In addition to financial support, our cafés stepped up in a big way. Throughout November and December, Caffe Ladro locations hosted an in‑store holiday food drive, inviting customers to donate shelf‑stable items to support local families.
Our community delivered. From everyday staples to kid‑friendly foods and holiday favorites, your donations helped Food Lifeline stock partner food banks across Western Washington during one of the busiest seasons of the year.
