Coffee for Good : Cascade PBS
As we look back on the start of 2026, we’re proud to celebrate a partnership that truly embodies our belief that coffee can fuel meaningful community connection. This January and February, Ladro joined forces with Cascade PBS through our Coffee for Good initiative, supporting local journalism, community storytelling, and the people who help these stories reach all of us.
A Blend With Purpose
Throughout the campaign, Ladro donated $3 for every bag sold of the co‑branded Coffee for Good Blend. This collaboration allowed coffee lovers across our region to enjoy a beautifully crafted blend while directly supporting Cascade PBS’s mission-driven work. Each purchase brewed a little more good for our local media ecosystem, helping sustain trusted reporting and thoughtful programming at a time when independent journalism matters more than ever.
Coming Together at the “Thankuary” Event
Cascade PBS hosted its annual Thankuary celebration in late January—a special event honoring the donors who stepped up to help fill the funding gap created by recent federal budget cuts. These supporters ensured that the organization could continue bringing vital stories and educational resources to communities across Washington.
Ladro was honored to join the celebration in two meaningful ways:
- Gifting sample sizes of our co-branded Coffee for Good blend to attendees.
- Contributing to the coffee and pastry catering, helping create a warm, welcoming environment worthy of the donors who make such a difference.
It was an inspiring event that reminded us why partnerships like this matter: when local businesses, nonprofits, and individual supporters come together, we can strengthen the fabric of our community.
Thank You!
To everyone who purchased a bag of Coffee for Good Blend, attended Thankuary, or simply shared the message—thank you. Your support helped us champion a cause that aligns with our values and fuels our region’s access to meaningful, trustworthy storytelling.
